Is this for real?! If it is, it’s just another sad example of celebrity worship gone mad. First Ronald Reagan, then Donald Trump, and finally Herschel Walker, the latter being the poster child for utter stupidity raised to a position of national power. Beyond that, Snoop Dogg for president, or maybe even Trig Palin. President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Camacho can’t be far behind.
Vote, they say, telling us that progressives can still win. They can’t, given the insane state of America today.

That was great. Made me laugh. See what a little (or in his case, a lot) of weed will do? A relaxed, laid back explication of a dire, life and death situation.

That would be true even if Morgan Freeman had narrated it. I notice Ken Burns loves getting celebrities for his docs. Nothing new.

Also this an obvious comedy skit. Clean getaway, baby

If you haven’t see the episode of Planet Earth II that the video shows. You should try to watch the whole episode. This Is just a piece of that part. In the show it’s 5 or 6 minutes long. And somehow is some of the most tension filled and hair raising video I’ve ever seen.

I can’t remember which episode it was, but this scene is pretty close to the middle of the episode.

Also. Those are just born baby iquanas. “Say hello to the world fella, it wants to eat you”!

Ah. I was wondering where Sigourney Weaver comes into it, but I think I’ve got it with a look at Wikipedia. Maybe.

“After making Gorillas in the Mist, Weaver became a supporter of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and is now its honorary chairwoman.”

You still haven’t got it. One of Attenborough’s nature series, when it was brought over to the US, had the narration replaced by voice-overs from Sigourney Weaver. Because Americans wouldn’t understand a British accent.
