The things that get said on Alex Jones’ demented ‘news’ show — pig-human chimeras, false flags, and now, according to Owen Shroyer, Hitler is still alive, a fact being covered up by The Government.
Welcome in to The Alex Jones Show folks. It’s amazing, here we are, so much news and the news is so big and the news is so frequent that the biggest news every day becomes a back-page story the next day. The Las Vegas massacre cover-up, nothing. The JFK files being declassified, Hitler still alive. All the history textbooks lied to us. I was lied to my entire life about JFK, knowingly, by my government. I was lied to my entire life about Hitler, knowingly, by my government. And that’s just a nonstory now because you’ve got another radical truck running people down in the streets.
Yes. Let us talk about Fake News. Who is subsidizing this lunatic?
timgueguen says
I remember seeing a headline about Hitler still being alive two or three months ago. Apparently this Shroyer guy is a bit late to the party.
Nemo says
He talks like he’s repeating a story that broke elsewhere, but that’s the first I heard it. Perhaps I’m not looking at enough tabloids in the checkout line.
As for the JFK files, there’s nothing in what’s been released so far to contradict the idea that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, is there?
blf says
He was cryogenically frozen at the secret moonbase and so didn’t age.
Yes, a nazi moonbase is actual conspiracy theory, albeit I believe in the usual telling, you-know-who lived out the rest of his life there. The nazi space program was, supposedly, I believe, in the usual telling, run from a secret base in Antarctica, which was still active into the 1950s, and responsible for the UFO (flying saucer) craze of the time — flying saucers were nazi spacecraft buzzing about as a warning or something of the nazi’s advanced capabilities and to stay the feck away. And this is why many nazi bigwigs ran off to the southern-ish parts of S.America at the end of the war, to be in easy reach of the Antarctic base.
Even the mildly deranged penguin thinks this is nuts. She has extensive Antarctic experience, and anyways, the MOON — or Massive Orbital Cheese Vault (the “MOON” acronym is the result of sloppy stylusmanship) — is hers. She knows what’s on, and especially what’s in, it. And how to drive it.

…which puts him right in the middle of Fuck The News’ Corpse’s target demographic.
In terms of age, too.
timgueguen says
Nemo@2, no, the new JFK files don’t contain anything that indicates Oswald wasn’t the shooter. But there’s nothing that will convince large numbers of people he was no matter what is released. Which, if there actually is an afterlife, must drive Oswald crazy.
M. Bouffant says
The full story is that a C.I.A. report claiming that a friend of a friend of a confidential C.I.A. informant saw Hitler alive in Colombia in 1955 was in the recently released J.F.K. files. The letter, at Balloon Juice.
Subsidizing? More like laughing all the way to the bank w/ money from the lead-tainted “nutritional supplements” Jones sells to his chump followers.

Feeling a bit down because according to the Independent the Democrats did rig the votes so HRC was the candidate
and i thought about all the rightit wingnuts gloating over the story.
Then i came here and i was cheered up by the thought that someone could believe that adolf was alive at the age of 128.
Ed Seedhouse says
It sounds like Jones is purposely trying to see how far he can push it before some of the rubes say “now wait a minute…”.
I suspect that will take awhile, though. Alas.
Nemo says
@davidc1 #7: My reading was that the DNC was in HRC’s pocket, when they were supposed to be neutral — and we pretty much knew that, if not all the details — but I have yet to see anything about actual vote-rigging, per se. (Maybe it’s there, and I just haven’t gotten to it yet?)

@#9, Nemo:
Well, aside from anything else which may arise, the New York elections commission (or whatever the specific name of it is) has admitted that yes, they did indeed kick a huge number (greater than 100,000) of likely Sanders voters off the rolls without notice in order to keep them from voting in the primary. You know, one of the things that Sanders supporters were claiming, which Clinton supporters dismissed as a conspiracy theory.
If Democrats were actually as ethical as they like to pretend they are, that admission would have had the Clintons and all their cronies drummed out of the party within 48 hours, and a full-page ad in at least a few major newspapers apologizing to Sanders. But instead, the Clintons and their buddies are still in charge, have just put a bunch of corporate lobbyists in as “members at large” (i.e. superdelegates in the next election) in place of actual progressives, and Hillary is still out there on TV telling the world how her loss was everybody’s fault but her own, because the rank and file of the Democrats are really not very different from the rank and file of the Republicans — it’s just a tribe, not anything deeper.
The Vicar (via Freethoughtblogs) says
(Oh, forgot to mention: the DNC has also changed the rules so that unlimited corporate donations are okay as long as the corporations in question are not “against the Democratic message”. Anybody want to form a couple of betting pools around the two questions:
A. How long was it after that decision that the DNC got its first donation from a corporation which most Progressives would rather not see donate any money at all? (You may be reasonably certain it has already happened; it’s been a few weeks now.)
B. How many corporations who try to donate money will actually be turned down in the next election?)

Nemo @ #2 — The only thing I’ve read about the JFK files is weird stuff. CIA notes from May 64 say Khruschev believed there was a conspiracy and that the Dallas Police Dept. was part of it. FBI documents about threats to Oswald’s life…but I remember that being reported at the time, so no “secret” there. A letter from the FBI to AG Robert Kennedy about a soon-to-be published book with conspiracy theories about him and Marilyn Monroe. FBI documents about Ruby’s gangster connections. And so on. No there there.
There are 300 more documents held for “national security” reasons, but to be released in a few months. I’m sure they will contain proof that Kennedy wasn’t killed, but rather whisked away by Nazi UFOs to their secret base in Antartica and then flown to the Moon where he’s still living. Oh, and that JFK was actually Hitler…I mean we never saw a picture of them together, right?

I thought Hitler was cruising up and down the time highway in an old VW looking for a version of history where he’d won the war?

DanDare @ 17,
I see someone else has been reading Roger Zelazny :-)
But the claim is obvious bullshit. Hitler was assassinate by Lt. Aldo and the Basterds 1944, when Ronald Reagan was fighting in Normandy a couple of hundred miles away. The Cinema burned down and no corpses were identified, which is why we have to put up with BS like this.

And their tribal gods are Sterquilinus and Mammon.

Re. cryogenically frozen nazis, read “Heil Hibbler” by Ron Goulart.
It has occured to me, many of Goulart’s humoristic SF stories seems to have ended up inspiring nut jobs like Alex Jones.

@9 10 &11 ,So the choice facing the American voter is a very corrupt gods own party ,and a slightly less corrupt
democratic party .
What are the chances that a new party built around the likes of Bernie Sanders getting off the ground ?
robro says
davidc1 — Zero. There’s now evidence and/or opinion that the two-party system is an intrinsic result of a winner-take-all election system. In any case, it’s not clear to this voter that Sanders is anybody’s savior. Not enough slack.
busterggi says
So Hitler is 128 years old, big whoop, its his loss to be a vegetarian and never have a bacon cheeseburger.
davidc1 says
@24 Hi ,well in that case America is cream crackered ,last one out please switch the light off.
If the decline of gods own party started under tricky dicky ,who is to blame for the state
the democratic party is in.
I think Bernie Sanders is a decent man, isn’t that enough ?

“Who is subsidizing this lunatic?”
Some of his greatly overpriced “after the apocalypse” vitamins that he peddles have been chemically tested and found to contain actual vitamins – but greatly diluted. His other “supplements” are garbage, just like the show. I’m pretty sure that he is self-funded given his quite outrageous income (estimated at over $7M a year just from what is actually known), which is readily provided by the great number of failed turnip truck riders.
