has died. I’ve been reading his stuff for almost as long as I’ve been blogging, and have always appreciated his humor, his openness, his humanity. And now suddenly he’s gone.

2016 has not been a kind year.

    This is such a loss. I haven’t read everything he wrote by a long shot, but I’ve done much bookmarking, and will read more.

    This is a shock. I stopped reading and commenting at LGM a few years ago, but I reckoned SEK would be making the internet a better place for years to come. Damn.

    Louisiana political blogger Lamar White commented about Scott Eric Kaufman on Facebook recently. He mentioned that Scott Eric Kaufman wrote some of the best things ever for The Onion and ClickHole. Lamar also mentioned that he never sought credit or attention for this writing because the gig demanded discretion.
