Very cute cephalopod. I know we are not supposed to anthropomorphise, because yadayadayada. But seeing the way it is moving around and making shapes with its tentacles I just can’t help but think that it must have a sense of aesthetics, a joy of visual things. A little artist of the deep.
I’m wondering about that tentacle gesture. I thought the rest position was tentacle-tips together, like she does halfway through the clip. Any guesses why the symmetrical positioning, PZ?
