Presenting His Holiness Saint Ray the Cat

It’s hot and humid today, and my cat is cute. Please enjoy these pictures of him cuddling with his new favorite thing:

Apologies for the poor picture quality. Trust me when I say the blur makes my kitchen look better.

The picture shows His Holiness St. Ray the Cat snoozing with his paws on an ice pack. He is very cute and fuzzy.

    Smart cat.
Move the body along the cold thing. Just to even-out the temperature.

We had air conditioning with cold air vents in the floor. In the summer (NJ = hot and humid) our dog (Siberian husky) would just lie right on top of them hogging all the cold air.

In the winter she would dig a little hole in the snow (1 or 2 feet deep on a good winter) and happily stay outside on the deck all night.

My black tortoiseshell will vouch for that too. Nothing quite like a purring happy cat on your lap.
