They say that God created Man
As part of an enormous plan,

I know at first it may seem odd,

That’s the problem with interpretation… you tend to get what you want.

That dredges up unhappy memories of dinnertimes, with my father angrily and continuously forcing my left-handed brother to use his right hand while eating. It was cruel. My father was not a bad man, only ignorant; he was simply doing what he had been taught. But I was so angry at him for not understanding that by rejecting my brother’s left-handedness and forcing the right hand, he was essentially rejecting him as a person and forcing him into disobedience. It was torture for my brother, who also had/has ADHD. He left home at 16 and never came back (there were other issues, too, of course). I have never forgotten those painful, sad dinnertimes. It was one of the experiences that changed my thinking about accepting people who are different than I am.
Ironic how so many Christians, who claim to “love” everyone, throw an awful lot of hate around. *sigh*
