And thus begins round two of insanity

It’s grad student recruitment weekend again, which means I’ll be running around like a chicken with my head cut off for the next couple of days. Hopefully this time my car won’t die a spectacular moldy death.

Consider this an open thread.

Well, unless you’ve already got the car back to normal without posting about it, that would be redundant – you’d have to have a different shocking surprise problem this time. ;)

Have you ever actually seen a chicken with its head cut off running around? I have. It is not a pretty sight, with blood spurting everywhere and this gurgling wheeze as the lungs try to scream in pain. If this is going to be your next couple of days…. I trust your comment was hyperbole?

(Chickens have very simple nervous systems and yes, this can happen.)

I HAVE seen chickens with their heads cut off. Not sure how they scream in pain if the head is no longer hooked up. I’m not convinced that the metaphore is inapt.

Pokemon Black 2 and White 2.

Yep, the endings were incompatible, so two sequels.

Kyurem appears to fuse with one of Zekrom and Reshiram, but no word yet on fusing all three.

Remember the two coded but unused Ice moves Freeze Shock and Ice Burn? Both descriptions and effects correspond with two such fusions, and even the Physical/Special split lines up perfectly.

Remember that the original form contained all three. If it’s apparently possible to fuse two, you know that we’ll eventually see the original form as well.

Yes, sequels. Guess we haven’t heard the last of G♯, not to mention “A Boy and His Dragon”.

I’ve observed in which on earth today, video gaming will be the newest gimmick with youngsters of every age group. You will find occassions when it may be not possible to pull the children away from the games.
