WH Christmas tree dies, the countdown begins to blame Obama

The secretive Democrat/Atheist/Muslim National US Alliance, aka DAMN-US-ALL, scored another big victory in the War on Christmas this week when the official White House Christmas tree was lost through “mismanagement” and “negligence”:

(USA Today) — The National Park Service says the Colorado blue spruce died of “transplant shock.” It came from a tree farm in New Jersey last year and was planted on the Ellipse just south of the White House in March 2011.

The tree replaced one that had stood on the Ellipse since 1978 but was destroyed by high winds in February 2011.

That’s two Christmas trees that have fallen in service to their country under this President’s reckless watch, that we know about. Coincidence or not — and we all know it’s not — everyone agrees it is yet another day of national shame for America and for Christmas thanks to Barack Hussein Obama.

Doesn’t that almost sound like it could be part of Mitt Romney’s latest stump speech or a Fox & Friends panel discussion? How long before some hack tries to blame this on Obama?

Who did the transplant? Did they do it based on false information in violation of national and international law? Did they use “enhanced planting” techniques?

In any war there are casualties. In our War on Christmas ™ we must harden our hearts and do what we must. There must be no Christmas tree that is should be considered safe from us. Once we break the enemy’s spirit they will be ours.

(Crap, I just creeped myself out.)

It’s the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. Perhaps the historian Newt Gingrich could get the sabers rattling again and blame it on perfidious Albion and invade British North America. Although I would hate to evict such a nice family from their large house again.

Poe’s law applies. You’ve probably already got fundies & teapartiers saying exactly the same thing in all seriousness.

“Poe’s law applies. You’ve probably already got fundies & teapartiers saying exactly the same thing in all seriousness.”

    This, times 5.

Meanwhile, the Damn Us ALL acronym was pretty damn funny.
