Skepticon got some pleasant, positive press in the Springfield television news. It’s weird how they gave that grey old guy too much air time, though.
(Yes, I’m finally home. Working on tomorrow’s lecture. I suppose I have to go fix dinner soon and other such mundanities.)

I’m glad you’re home safely. I just popped over to the Skepticon Livestream and it’s still going strong, but it wants me to log in with Facebork or join Livestream to actually see what’s going on. Sigh.

Glad yu’Re home and that news segment was really nice. Just like, you know, journalism, telling people what’s going on instead of shoving their opinion down your throat.

Dang. It’s too bad the organizers didn’t know about the food drive so there could have been a scheduled time to help out; I bristle at the article saying “Over here there are people packing food for the needy, while over there is a ‘very different group’”.

Sounds like the Skepticon organizers did a good job of publicizing the event. Getting a TV news crew to cover an event that features people who actually think is an outstanding accomplishment.
