Totally OT (I haven’t the faintest idea what a Molly is, apart from a small tropical fish), but since I can’t find an email to contact privately, well…
There’s a problem with the ads on this site. While I have no problem per se with, and I quote, “Hot Girls Who Want To Fuck” throwing themselves at me, it’s possibly not the sort of advert you were looking to run on this site. You might want to filter the square ad just after each post.

Classical Cipher: woot!
I have been omnoming amphiox for dropping science on meatheads many molly-months running. I will likely continue to do so, so long as amphiox keeps taking names.
However, to be honest, I refuse to wade back into the vat of piss that was July. My waders sprung a leak, I got “butthurt”, needed the fainting couch and clutched my pearls so tightly that my little talons started to hurt. Many of you fought bravely, but I can’t really bear to have my senses defiled any further.
If that eliminates my nomination, so be it.
Sorry, amphiox…you’re still awesome.

Mollies are virtual awards for snark and eloquence and factual argument and are named after the late columnist Molly Ivins, whose book Shrub gently dissects George W. Bush, faux oilman, country-club cowboy, and all-round fratboy. There’s a tab near the top of the page on the right that explains more about Molly winners.

About those ads…..sometimes they pick up keywords on the site (i.e. posts about Sarah Palin will bring on ads about her); and sometimes they are picking up YOUR personal computer activity. I just got ads for two websites (selling science products) that I visited yesterday.
So maybe you might check on where your computer has been hanging out for the last few days (and delete some cookies)!
