The Comet is in the Las Vegas sky.
The Comet deserves a better name than Comet C/2011 L4 or Comet PanSTARRS. The Pan-STARRS telescope was used to discover the Comet, so the scientists named the Comet Comet PanSTARRS. I would like to call it Comet Millennia. This Comet took millions of years to come from the Oort cloud.
Wonderful comet.
Below my horizon now.
Such beauty
Yet rounds our Sun
And makes from dirty ice and solar wind
A wonder.
Enjoy it whilst you can now, northern hemisphere- I look forward to comet ISON yet to arrive.
(Although we need to be aware, it may not meet the hype – yet we may hope.)
