Fun and games at Trump rallies

It is clear that there are only two things that Trump likes to do: send out Twitter messages and speak at rallies in front of his adoring fans. I thought that after awhile, people would get tired of him saying the same things over and over again at his rallies and stop coming but they seem to be still turning out. I put it down to the rabid enthusiasm of his die-hard supporters but the tweet below suggests that at least some in the audience may be people who are getting paid to attend the rallies and show enthusiasm.

It looks like a guy in a plaid shirt attended and sat right behind Trump so that he was visible to the TV cameras but rather than applaud enthusiastically, was instead making faces suggesting incredulity at the things Trump was saying.

Follow this link for more clips of the plaid guy doing his thing. For his pains, a woman came up to him and asked him to move away and took his place.

The plaid shirt guy was later tracked down and turned out to be a 17-year old high school student named Tyler Linfesty. He said that he was not deliberately trolling and that he was placed right behind Trump purely by accident and that his facial reactions were genuine responses to what he heard from Trump. But he identifies himself as a social democrat, like Bernie Sanders or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Good times.
