After having an enjoyable early dinner at a friend’s house with a few people, I was back at home by 9:00pm and in bed and asleep by 11:30 pm last night. I can’t remember when I last bothered to stay awake until midnight on New Year’s eve.

Unfortunately I partook in the ritual because I was promised food, the food was well worth the hussle and bussle of being among the the crowd with friends and a few relatives.
I sincerely hope that my goats celebrated the new year by having sex.
We shall see in 5 months.
