Arthur H. Cartwright, Children’s Theater Critic

Anyone who has children knows that it is obligatory to attend the many, many theatrical productions that the teachers in the lower grades put on. Not only must you attend, sit politely, applaud loudly, and praise everyone’s performance effusively after the show, irrespective of what happened on stage.

But Arthur H. Cartwright is true to the spirit of the theater. He feels that the world of children’s theater would benefit from the same kind of honest criticism that is given to adult theater.
