It looks like the last three weeks of Jon Stewart’s tenure as host of The Daily Show is going to feature a LOT of Donald Trump. And who can blame him? The jokes practically write themselves. Trump says that they have invited him to be on the show and that he is mulling it over. I hope he accepts. It would be a blast.

The best thing about the Trump candidacy as entertainment is that pretty much everyone wins. Trump wins because he loves being the focus of attention, comedians get plenty of material, and the rest of us get to laugh. The only people not happy are the Republican party leaders as they try to avoid the grenades that Trump seems to be having fun lobbing.

Jordan Klepper says that Trump’s election as president would fill a void by providing an important segment of the population with the representation in the White House that they have sorely lacked.
