NPR has put together a ‘just-the-facts’ timeline of what is known about the disappeared Malaysian airliner. Given all the wild speculation that has been bandied around, it was good to read about just the things that we know.

The invaluable ProPublica has also constructed an excellent timeline of the Senate torture report. The investigation began in March 2009 and was supposed to take just a year.

So why has it been so long?

A major contributor was all the stonewalling and obstruction and lying by the CIA to prevent the truth from coming out and the Obama administration not doing anything to help and actually hindering the work.

The Daily Show shows Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, who really should be in prison, now smugly lying about torture.
