Many of us have argued that people Like George W. Bush and Tony Blair should be tried for war crimes. There was even a British TV film called The Trial of Tony Blair that had this as the plot. I saw that film and it was good but it was clearly fantasy. Since war crimes prosecutions are only for those whom the US government views as undesirable, it was unthinkable that this would ever occur.
However, it was nice to see Bishop Desmond Tutu call for both George W. Bush and Tony Blair to be tried for war crimes. He also explained that his withdrawal from a seminar panel with Tony Blair was because of his feeling that it would be wrong to associate himself in that way with such a person.

Yes. Why hasn’t the international criminal court taken any interest in Bush/Blair? Or, for that matter, Obama. Take the lot of ’em, please!
