Another right-wing hater squashed by Minnesota

This state is a magnet for the worst of the worst. Jake Lang, in a repeat visit to the state, discovered how we handle these creeps.

Hundreds of people were outside of the Minneapolis City Hall for a counter protest against Lang at noon.

Lang arrived in Minneapolis on Saturday to advocate for a Rochester woman who called a Black autistic child a racial slur, according to a profane-ridden post on his X account. In a post on X earlier this week, Mayor Jacob Frey told people to stay away from the rally.

“Let this lame-ass racist rally fall flat and fade into irrelevance,” he wrote.

No, Jacob, let him face the state’s wrath. Also, Jacob Frey can shut the fuck up about “both sides.”

January 6th rioter and far-right instigator Jake Lang held another “hate rally” on Saturday, and it was quickly drowned out by crowds of Minneapolis counterprotesters, including the city’s own Spider-Man.

Minneapolis police (MPD) and protesters clashed after Lang drove along a sidewalk in front of City Hall, and MPD and private security seemed to shield Lang.

Lang first tried to hold an anti-Muslim rally on Jan. 18, which was also met by Minneapolis protesters and eventually led to him being chased out of the area. He announced last month on social media that he would be returning to City Hall to lead a “peaceful Freedom of Speech” rally, though Saturday’s attempt at a rally was no different from January’s, with over 100 counterprotesters already holding their own demonstration in front of City Hall during the time Lang was scheduled to be there.

In total, fewer than a dozen individuals showed up for Lang’s scheduled rally. Lang and six others, including far-right activist Jayden Scott, showed their faces briefly when they decided to drive along the sidewalk that was initially barricaded.

The decision caused chaos, as crowds of protesters gathered around the cars to attack Lang before pepper spray was deployed by a man dressed as a law enforcement officer who appeared to be working for Lang. Protesters threw water balloons, bottles, glitter, and more at the group, as they tried to pull the offensive signs away from the instigators.

At one point, a man dressed as Spider-Man jumped onto the back of Lang’s truck and began attacking Lang before the superhero impersonator was pulled away. Lang was later photographed being arrested by Minneapolis police.

The mayor and the police are pretty much useless, but at least we’ve got Spider-Man on our side.

Here is the best photo of the event.

Yay Minnesota Spider-Man!

Same here. I haven’t watched a Spider Man movie in years. Also, way to go, Minneapolis!

LOL, the little big man and his crew got arrested for inciting a riot. That’s great news, along with the news of possible criminal charges for the execrable fake Muslim impersonator (James O’Keefe) who filmed himself literally committing a crime by attempting to vote in our primary.

Oh he got chased alright. He also got punched, ice balled, whitewashed, had his fake tactical gear ripped off, tried to escape through a back door, and then got his ass kicked by some black teenage girls. The cops didn’t notice. 😎.

Welcome to Minnesota aka The North. We remember and winter will come soon.

: Is this also part of “Minnesota nice”?

Oddly enough, yes. The schoolyard penalty for being a bully (aka, not being nice)was often a whitewashing from a group of the biggest boys.

It doesn’t do any injury to anything but their dignity.

  4. Tethys says

Btw: a whitewashing involves tossing the offender in a snowbank, getting snow inside their clothing, and then giving them a vigorous snow scrubbing.

This time we are fresh out of snow, so they got pepper sprayed by protestors according to the news.

Another right-wing hater squashed by Minnesota

My first thought was that someone who hates the right-wing was ‘squashed’, but then I read the content.

    (Quite the ambiguous headline)

Even if they lawyer their way out of charges on free speech grounds or some shit, they should at least be able to get them for aggravated driving on the sidewalk and confiscate their vehicles under asset forfeiture (as long as those abused laws are on the books and SC approved, might as well use them for good).

  7. Ridana says

Btw, I guess they’re lucky the cop whose foot they ran over wasn’t an ICE agent, huh. They’d be up on terrorism and vehicular assault charges, or dead.

Also, sounds like some impersonating a police officer charges are in order as well?

So does this asshole get paid for this? He just stunk up Dearborn like a week ago, his second trip here this year, I believe. He desperately needs the Richard Spencer treatment, at a minimum.

Just a reminder: Jake Lang participated in the January 6 riots, served 4 years in prison, and was pardoned by Trump.

Spider-Man was arrested in downtown Minneapolis after attacking far-right agitator Jake Lang.

This didn’t end well for Spiderman.

He was arrested yesterday in Minneapolis.

He’ll be back. He’ll be back as long as the law allows him or someone does the obvious thing.

The next time Jake brings along his cross will someone bring the hammer and nails.

@5. Erlend Meyer : @Tethys#3: Is this also part of “Minnesota nice”?”

Dinno but there’s certainly one sense in which this was a really nice response by Minnesotans!

@Ridana, where did you see that they ran over a cop’s foot? I checked out the linked article but didn’t see that.
