I’m impressed you can identify the species of that spiderling. So tiny!

It’s so incredible cute! All my instincts scream that I should hug it and keep it safe – which would probably be incredible stressfull for what I assume is a tiny, solitary hunter with no real concept of social relationships of any kind but with many potential predators ^^
Does look like iconic Morales skull on abdomen. Name it Morales!

I mean if you were to keep it and John would be cool with such an honor. The resemblance is vague but uncanny.

We quite often have spiders living on small inconspicuous webs between the wing mirrors and the body of our car. They don’t seem to be affected by us driving around, I think because they scuttle to the wing mirror and hide in the nook between the mirror and it’s surround.

@ Hemidactylus
Well the obvious would be Theridion Trollius. But alas “Trollius” is already an unrelated genus.
Maybe they wanted a ride to somewhere.

Pareidolia: I see a stylised skull on its back.
I can’t identify the species. Theridion is a genus.

Theridion Hyperliteralus?
Silentbob if you must continue in this rather boring vein of sniping do try to get it right, genus is capitalised, species is lower case.
Safer for whom, the car’s bugs?

Umm, yes of course. Still pretty impressive IMO, and the clarity of your photo is great. You even captured the reflections of its wee little eyes.
@ Silentbob : To think you accuse me of bullying & obsession.. FFS.
Did you say “baby” ?
