I walked down the road to the mighty White River, a fast moving stream that descends from the Cascades carrying a load of glacial silt, which is how it gets its name. I had to stop and take a photo.
That lucky spider has that view 24-7.

I was just along the White River’s headwaters a month ago at Mt. Rainier/Tahoma. It’s really spectacular and I should’ve stayed longer. Several very pretty parks outside the NP boundary along the river. Ignore the clear cuts on the other side…
