    I can’t be the only one mildly annoyed that these creatures have 8 legs but are clearly some sort of bug or weevil, and not arachnids, right?

    I mean, if there’s one group we should be counting on to get the science right, it’s gag-a-day cartoonists.

    The “spider” seems to have nine “legs” — two she (presumably) is standing on, and seven others holding the sack full of eggs. No problem with being bipedal, apparently binocular, wearing glasses, talking, using a lift (elevator), etc., but nine “legs”? (Perhaps some sort of centipede, after all, it is the Arthropod Trade Centre?)

    centipedes are pretty good parents (for arthropods) so that would make sense
