Would it be OK if I started handing out spiders?
No.
Why not?

It would be OK, as long as you first ascertain whether they have a colony of fruit flies to feed their new charges and the intelligence and expertise to feed them properly. If they do not? Nope. Same reason you don’t hand out puppies… or zebrafish…

black kitten ,when he touches it ,it turns out to be a mass of baby spiders that explode everywhere .
