My mind says no, but my heart says yes to Satan

All the arguments against intelligent design apply still, but damn, this is a persuasive argument.

I’ve know a few Satanists over the years and they kind of suck. Mostly harmless though. No murder baby rape cults, just a stupid high level of self absorption. It appeals to sociopaths because the mantra is “What’s best is what’s best for me, and what’s best for me is best for everyone.” My own summary. It’s a very egocentric religion. Sort of like how Christians see atheists. That whole “How do you know right from wrong if god doesn’t tell you?” argument. So satanists are like the caricature christians who make that argument about atheists point to. But they aren’t atheists, and they are generally just kind of a pain in the ass.

…if my body was intelligently designed, how come my dick works best when I wake up in the morning but none of my joints are more than half-functional?

rayceeya In my ears, that sounds a lot like LaVeyan Satanism. The Satanic Temple is quite different.

God’s method of birth control. The world’s population has only exploded after the invention of aspirin.
