Speaking only for myself, I’m fairly sure flashing scary faces at me is the least frightening thing a big spider could do. Which isn’t to say that I wouldn’t exit hastily.

Now, why she didn’t seem all that impressed about his performance isn’t clear. I was very much impressed, though not aroused and likely, to some extent wrong species and gender for him.

Since Maratus volans are at most 5mm across and shy you will probably never see them or the 5000+ species in the Salticidae spider family unless you look for them.
