    I see a couple of female students in picture and in other pictures on the site linked to in the post.

    It is just more difficult to determine because everyone has the same hair cut, male or female.

    oh, I see now. I think the girls are supposed to wear aprons (or jumpers?), while the boys wear shorts. so the kids with the grey bits of fabric over the blue shirts would be girls? if so, there’s at least 5 girls in the photo above.

    This is fantastic news. I’m a poultry lover too. Our roos and hens are part of our family. They free range, give us a few eggs here and there, and will never be butchered. They crow outside my window as I write.

    I’m crying now, both happy and sad. The news has been so awful recently, it’s a relief to be reminded about some good in the world.

    I’ve been making lots of loans on kiva.org, as well. Gives me some hope to hang on to.
