Roy has this nice inclusive Christma-Hanu-Rama-Ka-Dona-Kwanzaa song for the season, but notice: no mention of squidmas. Time to riot in the streets! Tear down some embassies! Defenestrate folkies!
I think you all need to go to RoyZimmerman.com and sign up for his mailing list so you can track his War on Squidmas.
That’s nothing but bigotry, you should sue.

I can’t get over how smoothly “Christma-Hanu-Rama-Ka-Dona-Kwanzaa” just rolls off his tongue.
There’s no way he’s singing every syllable in that last line. Is there?!?
That’s it! I’m suing on grounds of discrimination!
It’s about time we react to such blatant discrimination against celebrators of Cthulumas. I’m also itching for a defenestration.
His guitar is out of tune…
I’m up for defenestrating folkies, but strictly on general principles, mind…
I think you’ll be part of a very small minority for this one…
While I like Roy Zimmerman’s recent songs, none of them are on par with his old ones like, Creation Science 101; Defenders of Marriage; and Dick Cheney.
But I suppose not every song can be his best.

However, I did see this holiday greeting from Stephen King today:
“I had a great year and, as always, it starts with the people who read the books and have been so kind to me over the last 30 or so years that I have been making up stories. It was especially nice to hear from you this year because I turned 60 and finally had to kill my teddy bear. Just joking about the teddy bear, but it’s a little traumatic and you guys helped to ease the pain. I hope you will all have a happy holiday season whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, or simply the imminent coming of Great Cthulhu. I hope that all of us will have a happy new year, that you will enjoy Duma Key, and that you vote for all the right candidates in November! Be well and be good to one another.
Rick Schauer says
No Squidmas? What? This guy is obviously a poser. I vote we ban him from the Squidmas gift exchange…totally outrageous!
Bill Dauphin says
Hmmm… our generation’s Tom Lehrer doesn’t mention squidmas in this one, either, nor in this one.
Bob O'H says
Me too. But that’s because I’ve just bought shares in Pilkington Glass.
Good Cephalopodmas song here!
Digital Cuttlefish, again! :D
One Eyed Jack says
He mentioned the most important holiday, the Saucetice. It’s sort of squid-like.
It’s *always* time to defenstrate folkies.
Maybe Jello Biafra (whose record label is Alternative Tentacles) could do a Squidmas song worth singing along to – maybe an update to Moral Majority?
Sven DiMilo says
Both the song and this post are merely new blows in the never-ending War on Monoplacophoranmas.
What about Piratemas (gotta do something about GW)
