Coturnix has asked (here) for me to submit one or more of these verses to the Science Blogging Anthology. If any readers have favorites they would like to lobby for, I would appreciate any feedback at all; I do not consider myself to be a particularly good judge of my verse.

I like “version 2.7” and “new and improved ancient technology” the best, especially the latter!
I like “Rainbows and Rubies” a lot.
“Cuttlefish in Genesis”, “New and Improved Technology” (it’s so naughty!) and “Rainbows and Rubies”. Difficult, sorry to have a trifecta. Digital Cuttlefish for the win! :D
BTW – just went in then and nominated about four – I strongly suggest that anyone reading this just hop on in and throw in which ones they’d like to see in the anthology, simply because unless they’re entered soonish, they won’t get in! :)
