Pulsar in action

This is known as “action” origami–origami that moves.  It seems meticulously engineered, composed of 48 sheets of paper.

I folded this during the Practical Origami Convention 2, in 2023.  According to google, the design dates to at least 2007, and there’s also a 2005 version made of 72 sheets.
