    And there was great rejoicing.

Rejoicing by some, tiny American flags for others.

    (I’m in the rejoicing camp.)

Up there with Salvador Cordova, more or less.

    Just kidding, Stephanie.

(wondering how the aforementioned blather machine (if you have to ask which is which, forget it) ended up so quiet, though.)

    Friendly

Excellent story, with a depth of implication that a lot of flash-length pieces don’t capture. (I wasn’t aware that Nature published fiction, or even a column in which this kind of fiction could appear. When did they start doing that?)

    Thanks, PZ et al.

Friendly, this was their 400th story. (Go, arbitrarily significant numbers!) They’ve got a very nice archive dating back to 2005 here: http://www.nature.com/nature/focus/arts/futures/#archive

PZ, just a note to tell you that some of your ads are starting to intrude on the page content.

I couldn’t even tell what the topic of this post was without opening it separately:

Yeah, what Kagato said. Even after reloading. Different ad, though.
