Deep-sea biologists
Claimed “We will never find
Fifty-foot squid!”

But his shell–which is odd
For a cephalopod–
When he bumps into things, bears the brunt!

Cuttlefish Physiology Limerick

As it changes, within
Its remarkable skin
Are chromatophores, changing in size.
