Sorry for the dearth of posts lately. Between PAX and moving, I pretty much haven’t been on the internet at all. I went four days without checking emails, which I think in a new record for me. Anyway, I’m still unpacking and doing other apartment related stuff (woooo, Ikea run!), but I wanted at least some kind of filler. So, uh, here’s me cosplaying at PAX as the main character from Pokemon Black & White:

Probably the best compliment I got was that two random people asked me where I bought my hat…but I painted it! Without tape or drawing circles! Freehand! I’m just that awesome.

Do you mean he was intentionally trying to inflame, or that there is another level of meta-humor or irony that I’m missing? It seemed pretty straightforward to me:1. Liberals complain about how conservatives are anti-science.2. Liberals believe that patriarchal culture norms determine attraction to secondary sex characteristics. 3. Science tells us that attraction to secondary sex characteristics is the result of natural selection.4. Therefore liberals are anti-science and silly hypocrites.Did you see something else in there?

That’s great! I love the work people put into their cosplaying. I never have done it myself, but as a group some friends and I have discussed doing a Venture Bros. or G.I. Joe cosplay for next year’s C2E2. Maybe a Who-crew. But we only have guts to do it as a group :)

Yep, that’s what I saw though it is clearer after reading your explanation. However isn’t it stupid to say all conservatives are anti-science or patriarchal ? I guess in NZ ‘conservative’ generally means fiscally conservative rather than socially conservative.

Shirts cut too low, and as others said, hair needed to defy gravity or be poofier, and maybe the boots should have been chunkier, and the pinks didn’t quite match, but overall pretty good (for a costume that would be mostly made of normal clothes, it could have looked a lot more thrown together).

Yeah, that was the strawfeminist I mentioned. No one would ever say “Men don’t naturally find breasts sexual!” in response to someone noticing a woman’s large breasts. But, I think it is actually true that there are cultures that don’t sexualize breasts like western culture. I think they are the same cultures that see no reason to cover breasts.

I want to say thanks to Ancient Dr Ehis Spell Temple for everything so far. To everyone who doesn’t believe in spell, I was one of those ones at first. I wasn’t quite sure if I wanted to do this since I’ve tried others so-called spells casters and they did not work and was a waste of my time and money. However, when I read through the testimonials of other people at this website and after I talked Ehis who answered all my questions and was very nice about everything, I decided to give it a try. My wife and I separated Last year September, I will agree I wasn’t true to myself and her.
