Here is a mashup of the spontaneous demonstrations that broke out across the country at the news that Joe Biden had won and that Trump had to go.
I was encouraged to see that so many of the people celebrating were so young. I am waiting to see what the demographics of the vote are, especially when it comes to young people because that is what will determine the future direction of the country.
Saturday Night Live, while reporting on other celebrations across the country and the world, also got in some digs at Trump.

You do of course realise that 71M of your people still voted for that ratfucker, when in reality the very concept of him running for office in the first place ought to have been a complete comical non-starter? Half of America -- half of *you* actually think he’s a reasonable option. Trump *ought* to be the equivalent of our Screaming Lord Sutch but you guys actually elected him.

@1: Yep. It makes going to the corner store an anxiety-ridden game of “Is he one of them? Or her? Or him…”

@1&2: Yep to both. Although I most definitely voted against him, I’m still embarrassed; and when I go out, I try to remain very well aware of my surroundings.

@1, 2, & 3: Try being visibly disabled. You start wondering which one of your neighbors and fellow citizens are looking at you and thinking, “useless eater”. I’m lucky I can pass as cis-feminine.
