When is a clap not a clap?


When it is a ‘Pelosi clap’, the label given to the way that speaker Nancy Pelosi applauded Donald Trump at one point during his State of the Union speech, that simultaneously signaled approval for the sentiment expressed while showing disdain for the speaker.
