One of the enduring tropes endlessly trotted by anti-gay bigots is that if homosexuality and same-sex marriage are allowed, we are immediately set on a slippery slope that will lead first to polygamy and end up with bestiality. But one further argument that they have not made, at least in the US, is that animals may see acceptance of human homosexuality and decide to try it out for themselves, thus leading to their extinction.
But a censor in Kenya is well aware of such a danger.
A photograph of two male lions in an apparent sexual encounter has caused quite a stir in Kenya—and the head of the country’s film censorship board thinks that the animals must have learned their behavior from humans.
“These animals need counseling, because probably they have been influenced by gays who have gone to the national parks and behaved badly,” Ezekiel Mutua, the chief executive of the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), told Nairobi News.
…Mutua is known as a moral crusader in Kenya and has banned television shows for purportedly promoting homosexuality and criticized lewd content.
The censor said that scientific research should be done to determine why the two male lions appeared to be mating. He suggested that their behavior may have been the result of demonic possession.
“I mean where on earth have you ever heard something like this happening. The demonic spirits inflicting in humans seems to have now caught up with animals,” said Mutua.
“That is why I will say isolate the crazy gay animals, study their behavior because it is not normal. The very idea of sex even among animals is for procreation. Two male lions cannot procreate and therefore we will lose the lion species.”
Mutua is wasting his talents in Kenya as a mere censor. He should aim for the big time and seek a high-level position in the Trump administration where his views would undoubtedly find a congenial home, especially in the agencies run by religious nuts like Jeff Sessions and Ben Carson.
Well, humans and neanderthals appear to have mated successfully (judging by my DNA assay) -- so I guess it’s a slippery slope: if we’re not careful we’ll have a lot of white-skinned scandinavians with neanderthal DNA. Because racial purity!

I assume the experts in these matters have, so far, been too afraid to tell this ignorant-with-an-agenda gasbag that other animals are well-known to do this sort of thing, as well as other behaviors he may not expect, given his artificially limited worldview. And also that other animals generally don’t learn such behaviors by watching humans. If his claim were the case, you’d think they would damn well have guns and fire (and pit traps or ranches) by now, since they have to contend with humans using such things against them.

Yes, I think it would be very beneficial for the lions if they got some one on one counselling sessions with Mr Mutua.
My opinion is that anyone that says homosexuality is unnatural and never happens in animals has never engaged in breeding dogs.
