Fiorina continues to make the most outrageous claims about seeing an abortion video that have been debunked repeatedly by medical professionals who argue, point by point, that it shows a miscarriage, not an abortion. Furthermore, there is evidence that the film was not taken at a Planned Parenthood clinic but in a hospital and that we don’t know that it was even in the US or that the woman’s consent was obtained.
Fiorina just does not seem to care at all about the truth. Even by the low standards of the Republican presidential candidates, she is appalling.
The Daily Show looks at Fiorina’s claims and the way that other Republicans have seized upon her fraudulent claims to further their agenda to make it harder and harder for women to get safe and legal abortions.

CBR refuses to authenticate the video with any information other than “It’s recent.” I presume this means sometime in the 21st Century. The refusal to give any other details might mean (a) that any more information would allow certain debunking of the video or (b) the video was obtained through illegal means which would cast doubt upon CBR’s other representations to the public and certainly lose some or all of their reputation, except of course, among anti-abortion idealogues.
Not giving any other substantiation to the video is about the same as giving a summation of a purported citation while withholding details such as the citation’s author, place published, and all other credentials of certitude.
Unfortunately, the video has been partially validated in the minds of some by being cited by a presumably reliable possible presidential candidate.
All of this is good reason to reject the video as represented by CBR, and to question the motives or mental reliability of Carly Fiorina.
