A few years ago I had an orb weaver who’d set up shop across my front steps at night and haul it all in and be gone by morning. I thought they were supposed to be day predators, and I never knew why it liked that spot so much or why it chose night time to weave its web.
Glad arm is much much better, hope that continues.
I’m so happy your arm is improving. Still, I would like to know what caused it and how us ‘aged’ can avoid it.
spiders are opportunistic ambush predators, and orb weavers have poor eyesight — they’re primarily tactile. night and day are mostly irrelevant, except for prey activity levels.
