Though primarily a gaming channel, his YouTube channel has become better known for his centrist and neoliberal political content, initially debunking and criticizing Youtube conservatives and reactionaries, but then quickly began denouncing socialists and left-wing content creators in general. […] occasionally engaging in apologetics for far-right personalities. […] claimed that police brutality can sometimes be justified, and has outright actively incited violent crackdowns and massacres against Black Lives Matter activists. […] repeatedly defended TERF activists such as [JK Rowling] […] Expectably for someone who spends so much of their time criticizing notable right-wingers and anti-SJWs, Destiny has garnered a sizable leftist fanbase, but in spite of that fact, he openly hates the leftist portion of his fanbase […] In 2025, he got hit with allegations of sharing revenge porn by multiple women, resulting in one of them, a smaller streamer named Pxie, suing Destiny in February. Okay, here’s a question. Let’s say that we are 20 years in the future. We have brain transplant surgery. Let’s say that I take your Rob’s brain and I put it into a ciswoman’s body. Let’s say that you wake up and you’re like, “This feels really wrong. I feel like a man and now I’m in a woman’s body.” Would you say that that’s a disorder, that you have a disorder there?
I would say I have a disorder, an illness, or something that’s wrong physiologically or mentally with my body. Yes. What? And then what is the disorder?
The disorder is that my brain is in the wrong body. Okay. So, what is a solution for that?
Put my brain in a body that more aligns with what my brain is. Okay. You just stated exactly that.
That’s not just flawed, it’s incoherent.
And it presumes Rob’s brain is put into the wrong body, that being a ciswoman’s body.

I certainly got the impression the clip about destiny talking about brain transplant was a pro-trans argument to trap a conservative of the “trans is a mental illness” mindset into recognizing the fault of the argument.

It’s “trans woman”. Short for transgender woman. Nouning the adjective is a form of dehumanisation.
If your question is, “what if a cis man’s brain were put in a trans woman’s body”? Well then he’d want to detranstion, wouldn’t he. But the scenario is ludicrous because why would that “body” have transitioned in the first place?!
Anyway, all this brain in the wrong body shit is bigotspeak. It’s what they used to say about gay people – that they are “inverts”. Trans people are an entirely natural part of human diversity. Yes they need to correct the sexual differentiation of their bodies to correct an incongruence with their identities in the exact same way that myopic people need to correct the focus of their eyes to align with the retinae. That doesn’t mean myopic people were “born with the wrong eyeballs” for fucks sake

When I heard the clip about transplanting the conservative male’s brain into a cis woman’s body my first thought was that he’d still reject the premise even though he’s giving the answer himself.
The follow-up I think is needed could go something like this: When was the last time you felt like you were an expert on what was going on in someone else’s head? Moreso than they are? When was the last time you were so completely certain you were right about such a thing that you felt comfortable, even righteous, about demanding the full force and power of the US government stand behind your expertise on what someone else was REALLY thinking? I know you can’t think of any examples. Do you know why? Because that’s a terrible precedent to set. It’s one you don’t want to be on the wrong end of later, and I don’t want you to be either. But you don’t have to believe anything I say here because the important part, the answers, they’re all coming from you. Keep thinking about it.
