That looks like snow in the background. I didn’t think tarantulas could operate in the cold.
Pink foot Goliath Tarantulas are native to South America and the Amazon. This looks like it’s inside a barn, which is an odd place for a wild bird. I don’t know if Tarantulas are normally found in barns. I prefer living in places with harsh winters and zero Tarantulas, Scorpions, Black Widows, Brown Recluses, or termites.
Now, if only PZ could breed a HUGE army of HUGE spiders that would kill and consume all the rightwingnuts and xtianterrorists. The problem would be how to make them immune to the toxins in all the rightwingnuts and xtianterrorists.
