Believe them when they tell you what they want to do

Between the Church Militant and Nick Fuentes, it’s pretty clear what the theocratic Right wants to do: they want to kill you or force you to be as mad as they are.

I remember when everyone thought atheism was radical.

Just a thought: are these far-right loons finally insane enough to repel the majority of Americans? Or are they actually winning converts to their bloody causes?

Oh, wait. I just realized that Twitter is in the process of melting down, and that it’s entirely possible that every time over the last 10 or 15 years that I’ve linked to Twitter, that’s going to become a dead link, and I better make sure to include a link to a more stable, reliable source from now on. That excerpt of one of Nutty Nick’s rants is also enshrined on Right Wing Watch.

The death of Twitter is going to punch holes in blogs everywhere.

Fuentes needs to read up on the SA. He assumes that his version of the hard right will triumph, and that he’ll be a major player when it does.

Today is the 100th birthday of Kurt Vonnegut and it reminds me, we should both condemn the fascists and mock them, exposing them for the fools and talentless hacks they are.

Satire no longer needs to be subtle; When people openly use Klan phraseology I recommend the South Park approach.
The new inquisition is both frightening and stupid, aggressive and ignorant. Call them out at every opportunity.

White nationalist Nick Fuentes admits the election proves that “we are in the minority” and “that’s why we need a dictatorship”

The last two times they tried that they lost.

The Confederates lost the Civil War and had to give up their slaves.
The Nazis lost World War II and had to give up their idea of conquering Europe and getting rid of the untermenschen so they had more room.

Fuentes and the White Nationalists are likely to lose once again.

He just admitted that they are a minority and they keep losing.

I just looked for polls that actually quantitate the percentage of white Supremacists in the USA.

    Study: 11 million white Americans think like the alt-right – Vox https://www.vox.com › study-white-americans-alt-right-…

Aug 10, 2018 — The Charlottesville sequel marchers aren’t alone: New research shows that their thinking about white identity is shockingly widespread.

This poll says that it is 11 million. That is .03% of the US population.
    That isn’t much

There are some limitations on this data.
The poll is old from 218. The numbers are probably higher now but I doubt they are that much higher.
And, it is likely a lot of white racists don’t answer polls like that because they know their beliefs are disgusting. OTOH, how appealing are beliefs that you have to hide and lie about anyway?

I don’t think 1% or so small brained, warped white racists are going to take over the USA and create a dictatorship.

“We need to take control of the media or take control of the government and force the people to believe what we believe.”
Exactly how do you force someone to believe something?

The Confederates lost the Civil War and had to give up their slaves.
The Nazis lost World War II and had to give up their idea of conquering Europe and getting rid of the untermenschen so they had more room.

In the former, at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives. In the latter, tens of millions. But then, I believe that is really their ultimate goal, to kill as many people as possible.

On the brighter side, Fox News, the New York Post, and other Rupert Murdock “news” sources are saying to “dump Trump”, recognizing the toxicity of MAGA. Trump’s own Kayleigh McAneny and Stephen Miller are asking Trump to stay out of Georgia and not to endorse Herschel Walker for the December 6 vote, as are other Republican politicians. The much booed Ted Cruz has also said he’s going to go to Georgia to “help” Walker. Last I checked, Lauren Boebert is likely to lose her position as Senator as well. Even Trump seems to recognize his increasing insignificance, what with him bringing himself into Q-Anon instead of trying to bring Q-Anon into MAGA. And there are multiple news stories involving the many who helped Trump commit crimes, in multiple court cases, which are likely to hit the news following Georgia’s upcoming Senate election on December 6.
Give it time. Now that Trump’s popularity is costing Republicans’ votes, they’ll finish the job against Trump to try and save themselves. The popularity of and support for Trumpism will likely follow.

This poll says that it is 11 million. That is .03% of the US population.

    11 million ÷ 334 million = more like 3.3 %, not 3/100 %.

But yes, that is a small percentage.

However, it isn’t necessary for them to be a majority or even a large minority. The Nazis were never a majority in Germany. But the Good Germans were willing to go along with the Nazis’ policies, once they appeared to be the legitimate government. Law ‘n’ Order and all that.

More importantly, these storm trooper (SA) types won’t have the organization to actually take over. It’s the groups in the shadows, who are more than likely supplying and encouraging them, who will take over, once things get to the point that the main thing the general population wants is order and safety.

If they were genuinely interested in making sure voters are competent adults, a higher priority would be insisting voters over the age of 70 pass an MMSE to show they don’t have dementia. I wonder why they’re not proposing that?

    Armistice Day!
Which should mark, for thinking people, the senselessness of slaughter, the abject waste of war.
And those goons won’t ever get me (and millions of other people) to believe that kind of horseshit, even if they had control of all levers of power. “Force people to believe.” They learn nothing. Stupid bastards.

If Fuentes hates this country so much, why is he still living here? Russia is currently accepting immigrants!
Having trouble wrapping my mind around a white supremacist named Fuentes.
Gotta hit the road to put roses on my grandfather’s grave in a national cemetery. Non sibi sed patriae!

  12. unclefrogy says

they want to be in power so they can then force everyone to believe what they believe?
The best they could expect is compliance and acting as if they believed in public nothing more .
I would like to know what their beliefs are and where they came by them? From what I have learned not much matches up with actual history nor more the a few percent of reality at all. Might be why they are so anti education and things like history and science as always having a political agenda with accusations of being woke, which just means not being asleep and dreaming but facing reality awake.
stupid bastards does not go far enough to describe them, it does not convey the degree of delusion, hate and insanity that they want everyone to accept and believe

Nicky! Nicky! Nicky! What a short Maggot sodden memory you have! I believe the last few months your fellow putrid slime dwellers railed on and on how a certain group of people who questioned a racist, fascist, misogynistic, homophobic, theocratic authoritarian, did I miss anything? Oh anti-Semitic, climate change denial, anti abortion, anti education platform (breath!0 hated America and they should leave. I submit that that offer is extended whole heatedly to you and your ilk.
You cry “It’s about the children!”. I assume that concern is directed also to Jewish, African American, Asian, Mideastern, Native American and miscellaneous non white poor children?
Recently The Rock Church a mega church in San Diego, Ca. Had several of its leaders in custody for the abuse, torture and murder of an 11 year old girl. Just another incident in a long list of conservative America Love it or leave it theocratic hypocrisy Seems organized and unorganized religion is really “About the Children” in a sinister predatory way. I submit the Catholic Church, Baptists, Mormons the list goes on. Your demand for a dictatorship Nicky seems like a transparent lusting to have your way with America.
We should in no way take this evil rhetoric for granted!

  14. brightmoon says

Wait the Rock Church ?!?!?! There’s one near me . I never went but the ( maybe false) impression I got was that they were kinda cool. . What is wrong with so many of my co religionists 🤦🏾‍♀️. My church is more on the secular humanist side and thinks being fundie is ridiculous. Honestly fundies scare me! Unthinking dangerous idiocy

  15. revmatty says

Note that the far right has been openly saying the same thing as Fuentes since at least the 80’s, the rise of right wing militias was all about the need to impose a dictatorship on the people who dared to disagree with them

    Dim as always.

I don’t think 1% or so small brained, warped white racists are going to take over the USA and create a dictatorship.

We almost lost democracy on Tuesday, much of it engineered by 6 people sitting on a bench.
