Covid is killing Native Americans at a faster rate than any other community in the United States, shocking new figures reveal.
American Indians and Alaskan Natives are dying at almost twice the rate of white Americans, according to analysis by APM Research Lab shared exclusively with the Guardian.
Nationwide one in every 475 Native Americans has died from Covid since the start of the pandemic, compared with one in every 825 white Americans and one in every 645 Black Americans. Native Americans have suffered 211 deaths per 100,000 people, compared with 121 white Americans per 100,000.
This is one of those facts that make white Harvard professors arguing that the pandemic helps their theory particularly repugnant.
Obviously, we need a universal healthcare system, but it’s worth pointing out that minorities in the UK are also dying at a much higher rate than white people even though everyone has free access to healthcare, so there’s a lot more to it than that, as this video explains:

Our stats, at least in Ontario, are not as good as they should, be but they parallel the US and UKthough our ethnic mix is likely different The best guesses here are crowding, multi generational households and not working from home as key elements.
Yeah ,a lot of Heath care workers have died while just doing their job ,and a lot of them are BAME ,as they are know sometimes It stands for Black Asian Minority Ethnic .
One poor Nurse died at the hospital where she has worked for 18 years .
Last summer every Thursday at 8pm ,people were asked to go outside and clap for carers .
Yet this fucking govt voted not to give nurses a pay rise
