Down southeast here in Indiana we have a flood warning instead, but then tonight and tomorrow the temperature’s gonna be below freezing so that’ll be fun.

I’m jealous. We barely have two inches down by La Crosse.
You can keep your 10,000 steps. Shoveling snow is the best exercise ever.

Reminds me of when I lived in Dah Yoo Pee. Stepping out into knee deep snow.

When life sends you lemons a ton of snow make lemonade a beer fridge!
Just looking at that makes me nervous. Seriously, you need to shovel that away, when it starts to melt you can get water damage.

We have a Winter Storm Warning here in Oregon.
We’re expecting possibly as much as two inches! tomorrow.

We don’t have that much snow but the morning we hit -25 (-13F) the cat got to the door and recoiled. He did not even approach the door for 4 days until the temperature was up to about -10

We actually had some sleet here in San Antonio. I was at physical therapy when it happened. It clicked against the large windows and looked very cool. The head PT freaked out. She threatened to make all of us walk out with walkers so that we wouldn’t slip. I commented that the ground wasn’t cold enough for it to stick, so I would be fine. She made one of the interns accompany me to my car anyway. Those of us who grew up with snow/ice just laugh at the native Texans.
I’m sure that PZ’s son was amused yesterday.
