CFI LA sources

I’m taking a shortcut in my talks at CFI LA: I’m going to flash a slide with a partial list of my sources for the ideas in the talk, and knowing that there is no way anyone will be able to scribble them all down even if intensely interested, I’m posting them here ahead of time. Your carpal tunnel will thank me.

I would have read them — honest! — except it’s my eyesight and not my carpal tunnel I’m worried about.

  2. Sili says

Even I just snap a picture of the slides, if I’m interested. Does anyone really write anymore?

  3. Nerd of Redhead, Dances OM Trolls says

    Typo alert: Koonin (2012).
Which looks like the most interesting of the lot to my tastes.

Nobody makes offerings to Tpyos here. No, enver.
Actually, it is interesting book. I’m wading my way through it while waiting in doctor’s offices. Got to the chapter on multi-cellular organisms, where the size of the genome explodes. But not all is active, and the ratio gets smaller with time. Take that ENCODE.

I ordered Gould’s Structure of Evolutionary theory and had to go all the way in to town to collect it. It was too big for the postie to fit on his bike.
