Radio reminder

Another Sunday, another Atheist talk radio at 9am. Tune in and learn all about the new leadership of the organization.

I’ll be in the air at that time, but I’ll be landing about 10am — maybe I’ll have to pop over to Q Cumbers for lunch.

Wow, it would be like so cool to launch peach cobbler into Gaza, but all our best friends are jews and we don’t want to insult the wrong superstitious retards until the sand n***ers are properly exterminated and then we can get all weepy and remember them like the Apaches, or Comanchees and bless our descendants with the opportunity to blame it on us.

  2. JM says

Why the emphasis on ‘vegetarian refried beans’ at Q.Cumbers? Is there any other kind? Is this something American which a Brit just wouldn’t understand? I thought for a brief time that Q.Cumbers was a vegetarian restaurant – the name, the beans – then saw the meat items on the menu.

I’ve enjoyed eating out in the ‘States – you’ve got surely as many top-notch restaurants as there are in the UK – but much better occasional restaurants, presumably because you eat out more. (Now worried that “top-notch” is an inexplicable British-ism!)

Refried beans are traditionally made with lard (pork fat). Damn tasty made the right way, too.

  4. MadScientist says

I’ve always wondered what atheists talk about when they get together.

A1: Hey, did you know there is no god?

    A2: DUH!

I dumped religion decades ago, but when I’m with my godless buddies we rarely ever talk about religion or the non-existence of god.

  5. says

If you ever listened to the radio program, you’d know that they don’t talk about that simple question. They talk about politics, about science, about ethics, about history, untainted by the assumption that a magic man in the sky done it.

Thanks for letting us know, Bjorn. I’m glad you have podcasts; it’s a convenient way to catch up when we miss listening to the show live.

Atheist Talk Radio is a blast. It’s my first experience of US radio and, dare I say it, the ads are the funniest bit. The incredibly cheesy Q Cucumbers advertising is particularly mouthwatering. If only there was a UK franchise.

  8. says

Hey, thanks! I’m just wondering why everyone laughs when I talk about my plans to take over the world. :) Thanks for listening, I think this is going to be a good year for Minnesota Atheists.
