Courtesy of a typewriter blog, I learnt that Monday, October 11th was Clare Hollingworth’s 105th birthday.  For those who have never heard of her, she was a journalist and war correspondent who covered news in many countries over many decades of work.

Hollingworth’s biggest scoop was in 1939. She was the reporter who broke the story that World War II had begun.
