I was just doing a little clean up of the spam queue before I staggered off to bed, and found this one fascinatingly offensive comment that had been flagged for the garbage pile. I have preserved it because it was just so mind-bogglingly oblivious to its own content, but I’ve put it below the fold because it uses language that is normally prohibited around here.
In the last 5 years, Stormfronters have murdered 100 people.
BULLSHIT! The $PLC is nothing more than a org full of degenerate faggot-loving, nigger-hugging jews who are intent on destroying the white race with lies and propaganda!
The FBI doesn’t trust them for accurate information so why should YOU idiots??? Of course, it’s leftist, hippy, scumbag ARA antifa douchebags like you all who try to keep up the hate!!
Read The Color of Crime and get some facts first so you won’t look so un-educated and stupid!
Way to go, you fucking racist hypocrites!!
So…we’re the racists? The haters? The hypocrites? OK. Got it. I know exactly what to do with this guy now.
Banned. Before any of his comments even got posted.
chigau (違う) says
Oh, please.
Did he even mention b*tches or c*nts?
What a loser.
anteprepro says
The FBI doesn’t use them, ergo they aren’t reliable? That’s an interesting argument. And it is the most logical and coherent one in that entire diatribe. The mind of an unrepentant bigot is simply unfathomable to me.
kraut says
He is not a loser – just your friendly neighborhood anti semite racist.
anteprepro says
Holy shit, the thing that this incoherent racist wants us to read is written by a blatant white supremacist, in charge of a white supremacist organization. No wonder they hate the SPLC so much.
anteprepro says
I’m guessing “antifa” was supposed to be “anti-life”, though it does sound like a cool word. Or a name. Antifa Jackson. Jeremiah Antifa.
anteprepro says
Oh and on the topic of racism, look what was just posted around the same time, elsewhere on FTB!
The number of these assholes just continues to fucking depress me.
chigau (違う) says
antifa
sounds deep-fried
anteprepro says
Everything sounds deep-fried. Because if you are cooking it right, it will be.
God, I’m unhealthy.
Crip Dyke, Right Reverend Feminist FuckToy of Death & Her Handmaiden says
I must humbly apologize to you all.
I’ve been masquerading around here as if I frequently had something worthwhile to say.
in truth, I have never once been hired as a consultant by the FBI or used as an informant (confidential or otherwise) or testified in a federal case in which the FBI was in any way involved.
Thus I am inherently unreliable.
I hang my head in shame for ever wasting your time with my words.

Nice sweater, though.

Hey, when I was 13, a couple FBI agents came to my door looking for someone who had lived at the house before my parents bought it. They asked me if a dangerous criminal was at that address and took my word when I said he wasn’t. The FBI trusts me for accurate information! I’m reliable! Woot!

So much for Freethought! A True Skeptic (TM) should want to hear all of the evidence before deciding whether or not the SPLC is a bunch of f-loving, n-hugging Jews. #UpForDebate

Antifa/antifas are common terms among anti-fascist/anti-racist activists to refer to themselves and their activities.
PZ Myers says
I contacted the FBI about our serial spammer, Dennis Markuze. They did nothing. I guess I’m unreliable.

A TRUE skeptic would investigate the possibility that there’s a conspiracy to destroy the white race. #UpForDebate

I did not know irony-meter explosions could be so strong. That one took out my bedroom. No one’s been harmed, but that commenter is gonna owe Florida Atlantic University a heck of a lot of money for the damage, as well as the time and resources needed to investigate the explosion.
Steven Brown: Man of Mediocrity says
Well, we could but I think the commenter in the OP is holding it too close… Maybe if they back off…. Further…. Further… FURTHER….. Keep going…. Look, we’ll tell you when to stop.

If only he’d meant The Color of Crime: Racial Hoaxes, White Fear, Black Protectionism, Police Harassment, and Other Macroaggressions by Katheryn Russell-Brown. But, alas, he was almost certainly pointing at the untreated effluent scattered and spattered the American Renaissance, an exuberantly racist, Jew-hating neo-Nazi gang.
Zeno says
The attack on the Southern Poverty Law Center indicates that your unhinged correspondent has been taking his “news” from the most extreme of the right-wing media outlets. Last month I heard Michael Savage go into paroxysms of delight when Alex Jones declared that the FBI had dumped the SPLC as a trustworthy information resource. The two arch-jerks celebrated the downfall of the SPLC’s credibility. In reality (and to the surprise of no one who understands the degree to which the right wing traffics in lies), much ado was being made over nothing: a minor change in an FBI webpage that was supposed to cite federal government agencies only and therefore should not have listed the SPLC. Media Matters has the details.

Seconding Dalillama. Anti-fascists are generally groups which organise in opposition to public neo-nazi/nationalist groups (counter-demonstrations to racist marches and events, exposing nazi activity in Europe, where it is illegal).
What I never got is how neo-nazis use it as a direct insult. I mean no one but the neo-nazis are going to think “Oooh, that person is against fascism, I can’t trust them!” The word does have some negative connotations though, especially in my country (CZ) where some antifa engage in violent street battles during the neo-nazi demonstrations, as well as the general association with “hippie, pot-smoking anarchist”.
Yeah, but ANTIFA gets sprayed on buildings in my town, often with neo-nazi counter-graffiti.

@Giliell, professional cynic -Ilk- #24
Sometimes, but often it is “I don’t understand my privilege” and “I feel bad hearing nasty things said about my privilege!” and “saying I have privilege is just as bad as me using slurs”!
blf says
As others have presumably pointed out (Sorry, I haven’t read all the comments yet), the FBI has not stopped using and collaborating with the SPLC. The FBI itself confirms this, saying:

Yes, combined with “My life is not as perfect as it could be. Bad things happened to me. Some people of a group I allegedly have privilege above has it better than me. Because all those women and minorities get into college there aren’t any more places left for less than mediocre me and afterwards thos college-educated people probably get the jobs I would have gotten in the good old days.”

“Don’t call me a racist, or I’ll hurl racist insults at you” never fails to amuse.

Well you live and learn!
saganite says
It must take a huge amount of cognitive dissonance to accuse others of being racists, while themselves employing a litany of racial and other slurs against minorities. Curious.
I also find it curious that several of you didn’t know “antifa”, it’s a pretty commonly used short-hand phrase around here. I tend to be supportive of such groups, even if I’m not a member and – as in many movements – there are a violent few who I have little sympathy with. Overall, though, I’m in favour of the antifa efforts.
birgerjohansson says
Antifa is anti-fascist?
Giliell, professional cynic -Ilk- says
Yep, antifa like anti fascist. In German it has become a noun in its own right
otrame says
When someone like that hates you, you are doing something right, so it pleases me that I have been a member of SPLC since 1986.
John Horstman says
Huh, that second sentence is framed as though it’s a bad thing; weird. Whenever I have run into a group of degenerate [gay man]-loving, [Black person]-hugging Jews intent on destroying the White race, it’s been a pretty good party.
I’ve likewise never heard “antifa” before – not regionally present in southeastern Wisconsin – and I really like the trochaic meter of “anti-fascist”, so I’ll stick with that.
UnknownEric the Apostate says
This machine annoys fascists.
Doug Little says
Well that’s the thing about being a skeptic rather than a boot licking, authoritarian loving rube, we don’t just trust organisations we actually look at their track records and determine validity based on their past performance. I guess the question for this idiot would be, why do you trust the FBI to tell you what is accurate or not?
moarscienceplz says
So what’s this “ARA” that we all are members of? American Rental Association? Automotive Recyclers Association? Apartment Realty Advisors?
blf says
Ye Pffft! of All Knowledge has two plausible (in context) suggestions: Anti-Racist Action and the (now defunct?) extreme opposite, Aryan Republican Army. I tend to assume the former is meant, but with this kook, it’s rather hard to tell.
ck says
Wait… I’m confused. I thought the real racists where those who accuse others of being racist, so that means the person who posted this is the real racist? That doesn’t make sense, since he only used racial slurs, which we all know isn’t racist. Could someone explain this to me, because I’ve become hopelessly confused.
=8)-DX says
@ck #41
It’s actually quite easy: we are all real racists, he’s just a race realist. See, if you use words that accurately describe people (the huggers and lovers), or against people who deserve it due to their inferior DNA, it’s ok and totally not racist because IQ or something.
Where it really starts getting confusing is when they bring out their definition of “anti-racist”.
