After arriving he went to play golf, and was caught cheating.
Here in Scotland, we’ve been hating Trump since before it was cool. 🙂
I’ve been enjoying all the clever and biting signs that have gone up all over Scotland. Well done, all of you! Also, it’s very refreshing not to have to wonder what people are thinking--if you’re in Scotland, they’ll tell you to your face.
While Trump was in Scotland, the First Minister (head of the devolved government), John Swinney, came to kneel before the Emperor, as of course did Starmer. In contrast, the former First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, responded to Trump’s insults (he has a particular dislike for her, possibly just because she’s a woman, but maybe because she’s not transphobic):
I have my issues with Sturgeon, but she’s vastly superior to either Swinney or Starmer.
