The New Yorker has a nice map showing the AP results for the presidency, Senate, House and governorships.
If you hover the cursor over a state, you will get the vote breakdown at that moment.
Right now at 4:45 (PT), creepy Trump leads Harris by 23-3 in the Electoral College vote and by 54.8%-44.2% in the popular vote.

follow this in real time? might as well ask me to line up shots of windex and dr pepper and drink to whoever’s ahead. no thanks.

What a weird map. Several of the states have zero reported vote totals at the moment, and it appears that Georgia is only reporting today’s voters (a little over 2 million), but not the 4 million+ people who voted early?
I suppose every state has slightly different rules for counting the results. They are having fantastic voter turnout if they only have around 7 million voters.
My polls are still open, but I’m sure MN will add our 10 electoral votes to Harris-Walz. Now I just hope WI, MI, and even Iowa all go blue. We are so tired of trump.

The US has a myriad of ways each state decides to count their votes, so you often get what appears to be weird interrupts in vote tallies. Frankly, I am extremely surprised at how fast the reporting went, and the winner was decided. I’d say it’s very sus, but then, why bother?

On the plus side, those of us outside the US won’t ever have to suffer through any more interminable election campaigns.

There will be elections, Roj. After all, Putin and Orban can help the USA with advice on how to do them properly.

Now dedicated to everyone who didn’t vote Trump in ’24… (this song was written by English satirist Mitch Benn in 2000…)
