I have written before about my admiration for the comedy series The Good Place. During a break in the shooting one of the actors William Jackson Harper tried to teach Ted Danson how to floss, which is apparently the name of a dance move. Danson does it about as well as an old out-of-it guy like me might be expected to do, much to the amusement of two other actors in the show Kristin Bell and D’Arcy Carden.
Ted Danson learning to floss is the only video I’m interested in watching for the rest of the year. pic.twitter.com/SKTMKZKvM3

To me, it looks as ridiculous whether executed expertly or not.
(which is why dancing is for other people, obviously)

I think flossing has always been a joke dance, like something you could imagine Steve Urkel doing. It’s just wacky funtimes for the kiddos.

I like this in part because it’s surprisingly in-character for the show. This is exactly the sort of thing Michael could end up doing -- it’s only odd that Chidi is teaching him instead of Eleanor or Jason.
Giliell says
Oh gods, my kids, meaning the ones I made myself and the ones I teach are driving me up the wall with the floss. Thankfully at least the weather is now too cold do the seal
