The Eagles founder member died today. The group had a huge number of hits in the decade that they lasted before they broke up. Here is a live BBC performance from 1973 of my favorite song by the group, Peaceful Easy Feeling.

Just my opinion, of course, but I felt The Eagles got less and less interesting as they got more and more popular. On the Border is a favorite of mine, but by the time Hotel California came out, I had no interest at all.
It is a shame that Glenn died at such a relatively young age, though.
The Dude is not in mourning today.
