It looks like one of those things that are shown in the reverse of the real action but it is not. Here is how they did it.
I am still not sure how they did the bit where the sandwich emerges from his mouth. It has to be some kind of sleight of hand where he has it up his sleeve or something but I don’t see it.
No need for an explanation except for the sandwich. For example the card pyramid should have been placed on the right so viewers don’t see the wires used (the balloon is a good example, no wire visible). Same goes for the news papers and the poles. The checkered cloth helps in that regard with hiding the wires use for the rose, you only see that after the domino drops behind it.
One commenter on youtube suggests that the “sandwich” is a sponge coming out of his mouth.
Stop the video at 0:05 seconds. You’ll see a straw-like device by his hand that’s probably filling the glass, and he’s not spitting it out the liquid.
Yes, I’m pretty sure the sandwich is a sponge. That was my conclusion even before I saw the other comments.
